Dec.31, 2020 Christ is revealed to you

Christ is revealed to you through a witness

Your faith is not based on The Church. It’s not based on Institutional Religion or Organized Christianity. It’s not based on your family’s Church membership traditions. It’s not based on a denomination or the Hierarchy of Church Leaders. Your faith is not even based on doctrines or creeds. That statement alone will get you declared “heretic” by The Institutional Church.

Your faith is based on the revelation of Jesus Christ to you, through a witness. For example, you read bible verses that someone gave to you or provided for you somehow. Or you read from a bible. Or you read someone’s testimony (someone’s personal story which proclaims Christ). In these cases someone has written and you heard through reading. Or you audibly heard someone speaking in person or via some other audio source such as radio or podcast. Or Christ comes to you in a dream or vision, and speaks to you directly. Either way you heard.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of Christ. The word of Christ is the good news of the gospel that He preached. The gospel is the Kingdom of God is now here, and because of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, in believing on Him, there is eternal life in His name.

So how then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? Just as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” If you have faith it is because Christ was revealed to you. And this happened because someone was a witness to you, and you, hearing, believed and called on Him.

Now it is your turn to be the witness of Him to others. Christ says, “but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” By the way, the Greek word we translate into the English word “witness”, is the word “martyr”.

Dec.30, 2020 Salvation is in Christ

Salvation is in Christ, not the Church System

Understand your salvation is in Christ Jesus. It is not in the Church System. Jesus Christ is your mediator (your way to God), not The Church. Not the Superstar Leaders. HE is your way of salvation, not organized, man-led religious systems of Christianity. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father if not by Me.” and “I am the door, if anyone enters by Me, he shall be saved.”

The hard truth is, the Church System of Christianity is completely corrupted by pagan, new age, esoteric, occult infiltration. That means lots of lies, false teachings, spiritual abuse and pagan traditions. There is no cure, it can’t be fixed. It is a rotten, toxic place of confusion. Realize that you are the assembly,(“ekklesia”) that is, you are the called out people of God: you who are now in Christ’s flock, redeemed by Him.

It’s not about “going” to a physical place to meet with God. You meet with God within. In ancient times people went to the temple to worship God. Christ fulfilled all of that, and ended all of that. Now you are the temple. Christianity ironically continued that method of meeting with God, as a tradition. Constantine repurposed all of Rome’s pagan temples of worship to the Roman pantheon, as Church buildings. Now we have “stone temples” made by men on every street corner. Now “she” (Christianity) wants us to “come in to her.” Pagan Christianity always wants people to come “in” to her… but Christ calls people OUT of the pagan religions of the world, and gathers them unto Himself, as a Shepherd with His flock of sheep. In both the Old Testament and the New Testament, God says, “Come out of her, my people.” He’s calling His people out of Babylon.

But now He is where we worship; He is the place where we meet God. Now we are God’s temple because the Spirit of God dwells in us. So we communicate with Him and worship Him wherever we are and wherever we go. It is about “being” not “going” to a place. His life is now being lived through you, 24/7. He will lead you to gather in fellowship with other brothers and sisters in different places. You are not alone. You are part of His called out people, gathered and placed in His kingdom. You are part of the ONE flock that He has; the other sheep in His flock are all over the world.

You will find His people in various places and you will find that He has special work for everyone to do, to serve one another in love. In other words we all have different functions and special jobs to do. He gives His people spiritual gifts with which to serve. He guides everyone by His Spirit as to how He wants us to serve and help the others. Sometimes you will have fellowship (togetherness, communication, sharing life) with others. Sometimes you will feel lonely. But He Himself will always be with you and provide for your spiritual needs. He said to us, “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Dec.28, 2020 Jesus Christ is the Word of God

Jesus Christ is the Word of God

Read the Bible. Memorize, study and learn. But know this: the Bible is not the Word of God; Jesus Christ is the Word of God. The Bible is not the foundation of your faith, our Lord Jesus Christ is. He is the Living Word. The Bible does not give eternal life, it is Christ who gives eternal life. Christ Himself is the Living Word of God. We don’t commune with God through the Bible. We commune with God through the Living Word of God, Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We know the will of Christ through scripture and through the Holy Spirit. Studying and knowing scripture is valuable, yet our actual communion with God is through Christ Himself through the Holy Spirit of God. Knowing scripture is not knowing God; it is through knowing Jesus Christ that we know God. Reading about Him is not the same as knowing Him. The Bible says, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. And we beheld His glory, a glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.” And Jesus also said, “You diligently search the Scriptures because you think to have eternal life in them, and these are they bearing witness (which testify) about Me.”

Dec.26, 2020 I have been crucified with Christ

I have been crucified with Christ

In Galatians it says, “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me, and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.” If you know anyone who is a new believer, please share “Within” with them.

Love those who hate you (but if they are toxic or dangerous you can love them from afar). Love your enemies. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Care for neighbors, children, women, social outcasts & foreigners. Defend the helpless. Rescue the victimized from the wicked people. Heal the sick. Be merciful, be meek, be gentle, be a peacemaker. Bless those who curse you & do good to those who hate you. Take care of the poor, homeless, vulnerable, weak, sick, suffering, incarcerated, hurting, hungry & lonely people. Have faith like a child. Be sincere (try to avoid hypocrisy). Forgive people.

Be glad! The time of religious buildings, religious sacrifices in stone temples, religious traditions and religious rituals is over. Beware of those “Godly” religious leaders; they can be dangerous. The kingdom of God is not a Church building; it is within you.

Pray “Not my will, Father, but Thy will be done.” Deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Jesus. Don’t let your family hinder you from following Him. Seek Jesus. He said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Follow Jesus, not the world. Listen to Christ, not Christianity. Follow Jesus, not the Christian Leaders. Christianity often teaches the opposite of what Christ teaches. The popular Christian leaders lie about many things. Confusion, deception and spiritual oppression is their game. They lead sheep astray.

Listen to Jesus’ voice, follow Him and do what He says. He is our King! Be obedient to Him, and all His teachings about how to live. His teachings are in the gospels in the New Testament. Ask Him to give you understanding, and He will. If you love the truth, He will show you the truth. Truth is revealed to you by the Holy Spirit of God. You will be despised and mocked by people for loving the Truth. Never be ashamed of loving the Truth. Jesus Christ is the Truth and you love Him.

He has invited you to a relationship with Himself. And with all the others that He has called out, and gathered unto Himself. Stay on the narrow path. Deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Him. Where does Jesus lead us, as we follow? He leads us on His narrow path. His narrow path leads us to deny self; it leads to His Life. A painful and beautiful journey awaits you.

Dec. 23, 2020 Thy kingdom come

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done

Did you learn this prayer as a child, or perhaps later when you came to Christ?

Our Father who art in heaven
hallowed be Thy name
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the kingdom
and the power
and the glory
forever, amen.

“Forgive us our trespasses”
Let’s take this opportunity to remember to confess to Him and repent and ask forgiveness for our trespasses, and to forgive those who trespass against us, so that our feet may be clean and we will also be awake and ready with oil in our lamps as we await the arrival of our Bridegroom.

“Thy kingdom come on earth”
We are on earth in our physical body. His kingdom has come within us. Because of this, His kingdom is come and is here already, in us. His kingdom continues to come as other sheep are gathered by our Shepherd, into His sheepfold. This kingdom is not a location, an ethnic group, a nation or any earthly political kingdom forced by men…. His kingdom on earth right now is His kingdom within each of us. Christ rules and reigns on earth now in His saints “for 1000 years”. Yes His Kingdom come on earth! He has also promised to us this blessing that the meek shall inherit the earth. The kingdom of God is a kingdom of meek people. The meaning of meek also includes the gentleness of reserve as well as self-control via God’s strength.

“The will be done”
The earthly enemies of God have the opposite of this prayer as their official motto. But we pray to our Father that, “Thy will be done” as we remember our Lord Jesus also prayed, “Not my will, but Thine be done.” Our prayer for His will to be done, rather than our will, never changes, even though our circumstances in this world may change. The will of our flesh is “my will”. This is one of the temptations alluded to in the Lord’s prayer. When we do God’s will, we do the will of the Holy Spirit in us. We want the will of God. We want to do His will! His will becomes what we desire to do. It becomes our will when we are filled with the Holy Spirit, listening to Him and obedient to His will.

(By the way, regarding “deliver us from evil”— if you look at the Greek you will see that the Greek words say “deliver us from the evil” as in “the evil one”. Our Beloved, Jesus Christ is our Deliverer from the evil one!)

So His will becomes what we desire to do, and what we desire will happen. How do we do this? How is this even possible? Jesus said, “I am the vine, you are the branches; He that abides in Me, and I in him, brings forth much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” The spiritual fruit of “Thy will be done”, is God’s will being done in your life. This happens through the power of God within you, via abiding in Christ. Only God can do this in you. The beautiful truth about abiding in Christ is, this is the life of Christ, living out through you. Christ in you says, “Not my will, Father, but Thy will be done.” This happens through the power of God by faith. This happens because of His love for us, and our love for Him.

“Thine is the kingdom”
His kingdom is within us through Christ and the kingdom is His.

“And the power”
His power is within us through Christ and the power is His.

“And the glory”
His glory is within us through Christ, and the glory is His.

Forever amen.

Dec. 20, 2020 The Kingdom of God is within you

The Kingdom of God is within you

Christ and the Kingdom of God are inseparable and the Kingdom of God is now within. The Kingdom of God is the kingdom of Christ and Christ is in you. He has given the Holy Spirit to dwell within. You can only be in one kingdom at a time. There can only be one kingdom within you.

The Kingdom of God is present in the rule and reign of God within all those who are in Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of Christ. The kingdom of God is the kingdom of Christ. Christ and the Kingdom of God are one. If you are in Christ, the kingdom of God is within you.

The unrighteous do not inherit the Kingdom of God but The Kingdom of God is a gift of inheritance from God to His children. In Christ we have salvation, and the power of God and authority of Christ. In Christ, God is our Father and we are children of God, recipients of many gifts including citizenship in the Kingdom of God.

The Kingdom does not come because we work hard to make it come. It does not come through our doing good works in society. It does not come by working hard, forcing ourselves to try to be obedient, by keeping laws, being legalistic, being moral, being religious, “holy wars” or living up to some kind of “Christian standards”. It also does not come via Church meetings, having so called community, or communal or group anything. The kingdom does not come because people join hands and sing “we are the world”. We don’t make it happen, it already is.

God brings people into His Kingdom through faith, by the resurrection power of Jesus Christ. Those who are in Christ by God’s redemptive power have been moved from one kingdom to another. In Christ, God transfers you out of the kingdom of darkness and into the Kingdom of His beloved Son. When this happens, you are now in a new kingdom and the Kingdom of God is now within you.

The Kingdom of God is the same as His salvation, His power, His rule and His authority, and all this through Jesus Christ. This all happens within…. and is expressed by the actions (fruit) of the Holy Spirit.

The Kingdom of God comes by faith and resides within the spirit, which is within the soul (where is heart, mind and will) , which is within the physical body. And yes, the physical body is also important.

The Kingdom of God is the rule and reign of God within each child of God and this happens by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Kingdom of God is shown or revealed by the actions of the Spirit of God, within His people.

The Kingdom of God within is the fruit of the Holy Spirit within… among which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. God demonstrates these to us, and we demonstrate them to Him and to the world, when these show themselves in and through us. For example love. God loves us and fills us with His love, and we love Him and love others with the supernatural love of God. This love within, given to us as a gift by God, is the love we have for Christ. He loves us and we love Him. It is a two-way relationship.

In Christ, you are now part of His Kingdom. Though you physically reside on the earth in your body, spiritually you are no longer a dweller of the earth. Spiritually you have been transferred to the Kingdom of God through repentance and faith, through the blood of Christ, through the power of God, and this Kingdom is within. You are no longer a member of the kingdoms of this world.

The kingdom of God is within you; Christ is within you. Jesus Christ is our kingdom and He is our King. Understanding your citizenship in the kingdom of God is so important because it helps you understand that your loyalty and allegiance lies with Christ. You belong to God!

Understand that your identity is in Christ. You are a child of God! Having firm conviction of this will help you make many decisions as you are faced with choices in this world. You have been bought with a price, the price of the precious blood of Christ. You are now a member of His kingdom. Jesus is now your King!

Christ is living in you and growing your faith and love. You will be filled with the faith and love and righteousness of Christ and made a temple of worship and praise and love to God. Christ loves us so much with great love and our response is nothing other than great love for Him.

The Kingdom of God does not just stay within; it is not hidden away inside. It is not a secret thing. First within, it then proceeds out and is manifest in the lives and actions of the child of God. The kingdom of God thus does not come with observation in the sense that we think of seeing “a thing or place over there”. It’s not, “Oh look, there is the Kingdom there in that place” or “there it is in that organization” or “there it is in that country” or “there it is in that movement” …. and such. It is not something man can create or sell or withhold or force or declare or legislate or design and engineer or start up as a business or legally create with articles of incorporation. It is the work of our God, the indwelling and the power of the Holy Spirit within the hearts of His beloved redeemed people.
